Breahtwork isn’t something easy to do. You might think of a nice relaxing spa time. But no. It’s hard work hence the word Breath”work”.
It’s about connecting the mind and body through very intense mouth breathing.
As entrepreneuers we’re used to live in our mind. To solve problems. To come up with new ideas. Our minds are racing. 🧠💨
So naturally, when this client entrepreneur came to an initial Breathwork session, it wasn’t easy for him to focus and force his breath through the mouth and stay connected to it.
However, with each session, he was able to dive deeper into the practice. He set clear intentions for his business. One session’s intention was around a complex investment case that had left him stuck for over a month.
Then came the breathwork, during this session, the entire investment strategy crystallized in his mind. Post-session, he wrote down his newfound strategy and, within months, turned it into reality. 📝🚀
So I asked him: Was it worth it? Was it worth to commit to show up to something different, to learn to surrender by forced breathing and getting uncomfortable? 🤔
His respond was a clear Yes. Even though every session is different and every time it takes new bravery of him to do this, the vision and clarity he gained over all sessions was more than worth it.
And he continues doing it even though every time there is a bit of resistant present :) But I believe this is part of an Entrpeneurial Path. You go where resistant is in order to grow.
